Meet Michelle Bartelson
Michelle Bartelson is a Web Project Manager at Yaskawa. She recently shared some insights on her tenure with us.
In January 2000, I accepted a position in the Customer Service Group at MagneTek, a Yaskawa drives brand labeler. The group was responsible for checking stock, processing orders, answering customer questions, and working with outside sales and other internal teams to address and resolve any customer issues. I enjoyed this time building relationships with my co-workers and customers across North America.
Upon completion of my business degree with a support in communications, I was offered the opportunity to join the Marketing Communications team in 2005. Over the years, I have managed logins, maintained website content, distributed email communications, helped develop and grow Yaskawa’s social media presence and so much more.
My current role as Web Project Manager continues to allow me to work with various Yaskawa teams to provide the best service to our customers. I am challenged to learn and grow as technologies, trends, and tools change. I enjoy sharing ideas and working on projects to meet and exceed customer and business needs.
Over the years there have been many changes, but my coworkers and customers have become a very special part of my time at Yaskawa. They are my extended family I will always cherish. So many great memories! I look forward to getting a call or email after long periods and hearing from friends.
Spending time with my family is important to me. My husband and I have two daughters and their many adventures usually keep us on the go. I enjoy the outdoors, a good book, being in the kitchen cooking or baking for family and friends, and working or relaxing in our garden. I grew up on a Wisconsin dairy farm, so you can bet I love animals too!
